My father was one of those british soldiers, a staff-sergeant at Headquarters Singapore, somehow he manage to keep a diary and records whilst captive, burying scraps of paper in tobacco tins, only in his last few years did he really talk about it to his family, but for sixty years he would cry out in his sleep, and wake fighting an unseen japanese tormentor. He was in Singapore throughout the captivity, and talked of his horror at seeing civilians executed by the japs, but also of his everlasting gratitude to the ordinard Singaporeans who risked beatings to slip tiny packages of food and medicines to prisoners being marched past. One old chinese lady, every day, stepped up to give eggs to the soldiers, risking the anger of the guards, she said "I am old, I die soon anyway" He died in 2001, but not before sending his three sons and his daughter to Thailand and to Singapore, to pay respects, on his behalf, at Kanchanaburi, and Kranji. When you look on the airport at Changi, think of the men who cleared the trees, waded through the swamp, died of malaria and of starvation, in order to build it. Nothing is gonna chg...U tak happy pun, they already make it to the Semi Finals..and i guess they tried their very best already. Awak kenapa benci sangat eh ngan CDM? kenapa asyik memperkatakan the bass and singerlah .. Bass pukan pemain biasa but the fact is dia insan, manusia biasa...asal tak nak ckp pasal fatskunk ke, knightwings ke, x-tech ke or the other bands...lagi ada EP all that..perform everyway....dah more established. tapi masuk ANUGERAH BAND. takde pun di mempertikaikan? Hairan lah...Apa salah CDM eh ngan awak...hairan...other blogs pun you indicate your unhappiness...macam gini how the malays nak maju...asyik ada PHD aje...berilah sokongan..nie takde..menjatuhkan lagi ada..really pity masyarakat kita yg berperangai seperti ini.Just sit back, is it worth it? U guy know he with Jatt ali in House Of Rock and he have his own powerful band That his talent so strong. Why he join Cucu Datok Merah? Band Cucu Datok Merah, permain bass, bukan lah permain biasa dan sudah pun ada kumpulan terhandal bernama Ministry Of Rock bersama Jatt Ali dan Fuad Rahman. Setahu Fifi, orang yg berbakat tak sepatutnya masok Anugerah band ni.Tak sesuai dah tidak adil pada band2 yg lain. MOR ada sebuah lagu melayu dah pernah di dengar di Radio, Ria and Warna. dan jugak video mereka ada di youtube. Bagi Fifi, MOR kumpulan yg cukup hebat dan sepatut nya terima undangan utk bermain di Anugerah ni seperti Undangan.Kerana band ni ter sangat lah handal. Album yg ada di pasaran : 'BALADA ROCK HITS KLASIK VOL 2' LAGU: REDHA ( Ministry Of Rock )Lagu ni 2 penyanyi. Anis aris (permain Bass) and Jatt Ali. I bought this CD too. Bassist Cucu Datok Marah..
